Strategic Task Teams

Task Teams are structured, expert-led groups supporting the development of the Institutional Operating Plan (IOP) 2026–2030. Composed of senior academics and professional staff, they are tasked with translating key inputs, such as campus dialogues, institutional reviews, and commissioned papers, into strategic priorities and implementation pathways.

While not representative structures, Task Teams operate alongside broader consultative processes that ensure wide participation across the university. Together, these mechanisms help shape a focused, forward-looking plan grounded in both institutional insight and collective input.

Strategic Resource Planning and Sustainability

focuses on building financial resilience and enabling long-term sustainability across the institution. It examines ways to mobilise resources that align with UWC’s academic and public mandate. Key priorities include financial innovation, alternative income streams, cost optimisation, donor and alumni engagement, and strategic investment in infrastructure and academic initiatives. The goal is to ensure UWC can grow, adapt, and lead in a constrained and evolving funding environment.
